Getting to Tokyo

Tokyo has two main airports: Narita International Airport (NRT) and Haneda International Airport (HND).


1. Bus (Limousine Bus)

There are buses every 30 minutes from NRT to Tokyo Station (One of the biggest terminal station in Tokyo), which are operated by the Limousine Bus. It takes about 2 hours. 2,800 JPY.

2-1. Train (Japan Railway: JR)

There are Express Trains (Narita Express: N’EX) every 30 minutes from NRT to Tokyo Station. It takes about 1 hour, and fare is 3,020 JPY. Also, JR has local trains. It takes about 1.5 hour, 1,320 JPY.

2-2. Train (Keisei)

Keisei is another train company from NRT to Tokyo Metropolitan, but the terminal station in Tokyo is Keisei Ueno station. Keisei Skyliners (express train) take about 45 mins, and 2,470 JPY. Also Keisei local trains take about 1.5 hour, and fare is 1,030 JPY.



1.Bus (Limousine Bus)

There are buses every 1 hour from HND to Tokyo Station, which are operated by the Limousine Bus. It takes about 40 mins. 930 JPY.

2-1. Monorail and Train (Tokyo monorail and JR)

There are monorails every 3-5 minutes from HND to Hamamatsucho Station. It takes about 15-20 mins. After arriving at Hamamatsucho station, you can change to JR Yamanote line or Keihintohoku line to Tokyo for 5 mins. The fare is 650 JPY total.

2-2. Train (Keikyu and JR)

There are Keikyu trains every 10-20 minutes from HND to Shinagawa Station. It takes about 15-20 mins. After arriving at Shinagawa station, you can change to JR Yamanote line or Keihintohoku line to Tokyo for 10 mins. The fare is 580 JPY total.


Getting to the conference location

Please note that Meiji University has many buildings in various locations around Tokyo. This conference is being held in the Academy Common Building, Surugadai campus. Address: 1-1 Kanda Surugadai, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan.

The main train station is Tokyo statin and is about 30 mins walk from the conference venue.

How to get to the conference venue from the train station:

From Tokyo station, take JR Chuo line for 2 stations. Get off at Ochanomizu station (Ochanomizu bashi exit), which is 200 meters from the conference venue.
